On the run!

A dark side of my past came back to me tonight and went away just as fast as it came, but it was around long enough. My parents don't know everything about me before they adopted me. One of those items came back to haunt me tonight. As I was strolling around outside in the rain, the "Po Po" chopper came flying above. As soon as a I heard the rattle and whistling of those oh so quiet roters, I took off running under the brush. You see back in my earlier life, pre-adoption I lived a pretty tough life. Struggled to make ends meet and made some bad choices a long the way. One of those decisions landed me in the slammer. Yes, good ole Oscar in the slammer. My name wasn't Oscar then. My name was D102938-83, listed at 1'10" standing up, about 15 lbs, and with really dirty white hair. I later become referred to as the "Terrifying Terrier". Didn't take crap from no one. Until one day, when a Teacup Poodle got the best of me. From that day on, I decided that I had to change my life around. I converted and was saved.

A few days after getting released from the slammer I was adopted by my wonderful parents. I have never looked back on my ugly past because its the past after all. It was just that sound of the rotors that sent shivers down my like doggie spine. Made by hair stand straight up on my forehead (honestly, I can't ever get it to lay down even after using styling gel).

Well, its getting close to bedtime and I need to rest. It was an exhausting afternoon and evening that included me getting a new tennis ball and annoying the heck out of our neighbor behind me. She gives me treats all the time, but she reminds me of the bird lady from Home Alone 2. Another story for another post.

Peace Out
