Fire Dog

From what I've been told by mom, dad grew up with his twin brother chasing fire trucks and police cars; at least they weren't getting chased by them. Today around 1230ish dad and I were working outside, dad was working on building some picture frames for mom and I was working on my tan. We started hearing a lot of sirens. All the dogs in the neighborhood starting howling, so of course I had to chime in. Mom then called and said she saw large plume of smoke. Dad being the rocket scientist that he is, put the two together and decided there must be a large fire somewhere. After making a phone call to his brother, dad and I hopped into the car to find the fire. It didn't take long. It was only 5 mins away from my house. I got scared at one point because it was so smokey I couldn't see out of the car window. Here are some photos I took while standing around.

Here is a photo of the frames dad made for a decorative ceiling tile that mom is going to use as artwork.

It's been another exhausting Saturday. Basketball is starting up and I'm going to go watch it with dad.

Peace Out
