First off, I need to apologize for the lack of written blogs lately, but it has just been way too nice outside to be sitting around all day on a computer. Secondly, I need to apologize if this entry gets a little off subject or rambly because I'm nursing a serious hangover this morning. Last night was probably my best human friends birthday. Happy Birthday J Wo. Anyways, I was able to sneak into Crescent Moon last night with mom and dad. It's a lot harder for dogs to get over a hang over. It's not like my normal food or water is going to cure it. Thank goodness for the crappy weather today. This will allow me to stay in and just sleep.
It's been a very busy week. You know I'm an avid gardener as you can see in a photo from a previous post. Last Sunday, mom helped me plant "Impatients" all around the flower beds and dad helped my lift the two new Sargent Craptrees into their hole that I dug with my paws (2.5' x 1'). I then planted our vegetable garden (not sure why I did this because I'm not going to get to eat any of it) and finished prepping the rest of the beds up for mulch. When it was all said and done yesterday, dad, myself, and a neighbor (dad miscalculated how much mulch we needed and so the neighbor took dad to get more in his pickup truck) had placed 10 CY of mulch. I will have to post photos of the flowers beds here when it gets done raining.
I finished up the week yesterday with supervising some roofers who installed some new roof vents and replaced the chimney flashing. Hector and Chewy were really nice even though I have no idea what they said to me. Also, NFM delivered two new pieces of furniture for me to nap on. A bed with a trundle upstairs and a huge sectional in the basement. I love the sectional because I hop up on one end and walk over everyone to get to the other end. Now the 27" TV looks too small. Better talk dad into buying a new one.
It's time for me to go take some Tylenol and drink some Gatorade (kidding), but I am going to go nap. Have you ever noticed I love to nap. I got that from my mom. Oh by the way, don't forget Mothers day tomorrow. I know I'll be thinking of my natural mother, where ever she may be.
Peace Out
