So, usually mom comes home around noon everyday to let me out and run around for about an hour before going back to work. Today was no different or so I thought. The garage opened (that means she’s home, so I got all excited) and then shortly later the front door opened. Then I hear foot steps and then the foot steps turned the corner and it wasn’t mom’s face that I saw but Grandma Jennifer. I hadn’t seen her since she “babysat” me for the day and I haven’t been asked back.
I strutted to the back door (I don’t walk, I strut) and then I saw my Aunt Babe (aka Border Collie) and Aunt Amy in the backyard. Aunt Babe came to the door and I wanted out so badly I kept pawing at the window, but Grandma couldn’t figure out the security locks on the door. She noticed my increasing anticipation to get outside, so she picked me up and carried me around the house to the backyard. They eventually figured out how to open the backyard. Aunt Babe and I played around with the ball and football for over an hour before I they took me on a walk around the block and put back in my crate, so they could go back home.
Dad came home about 1.5 hrs later and I was exhausted. I ate my food and then I just wanted to nap. Dad and I hit the new trundle bed upstairs and slept for about 30 mins. before mom called. I spent the rest of the evening barking at the birds, getting a walk around the neighborhood again, and helped dad wash his golf clubs downstairs. From what I’ve seen the backyard, Dad is going to be the next Tiger Woods.
Peace Out,
